The Byzantine Music Festival in Iasi is an initiative of the Metropolitanate of Moldavia and Bukovina dedicated to the promotion of Byzantine-inspired sacred art. Bringing together the most renowned performers, theorists and practitioners, the Festival will turn Iasi into a “capital of Byzantine chant” for four days.
This high-level cultural event will feature outstanding concerts as well as liturgical moments, with services celebrated as close as possible to the way they were performed in ancient Constantinople, the past heart of Orthodoxy.
