Evelina Mineva is a lecturer at the Department for Slavic Studies in National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is an expert on history and culture of Byzantium, as well as a Greek translator. She has a PhD in Byzantine literature on the subject: “The Hymnographical Works of Mark Eugenikos, metropolitan of Ephesus (1394/95-1446)” at the University of Ioannina, Greece.
